Aaron Blabey autographs our books
On Wednesday August 20, 2014, children's author Aaron Blabey visited our school to help celebrate book week.
Aaron performed his much loved books, including "Stanley Paste" and "Sunday Chutney", and he also showed us some of his new books which are not yet published. Everyone laughed at his new character Pig the pug dog and his antics!
The children were captivated by his story telling and his drawing skills. Aaron showed us how to draw Stanley Paste. Aaron donated his drawings to the school, which will be framed and hung in the library.
Aaron Blabey spent considerable time answering the children's questions. He inspired us all to continue writing and drawing.

A huge congratulations to Hali, who has been selected in the MacKillop Rugby Union team after representing the Parramatta Diocese at the MacKillop Rugby Union Trials in Forbes last weekend. π This is an outstanding achievement and a testament to Hali's hard work and dedication to the sport. We wish Hali the very best of luck as he represents MacKillop at the NSWPSSA Rugby Union Championships in August. We know he will make us proud!

Year 1 has been inspired by The Most Magnificent Thing by Ashley Spires! After reading the story, students worked in groups of 2β4 to design and build their own magnificent creations using concrete building materials. They showed fantastic teamwork and creativity as they brought their ideas to life. We are so proud of their amazing efforts!
