Junior girls ready for the 800 m
Last Friday, March 27, 2015, we had a beautiful sunny day for our Primary athletics carnival.
The day started with long jump and 800 m events.
We then progressed to the fast events, 100 m and then 200 m.
All the children got involved and some participated in many events. It did not matter if you did not win! The cheering from the stands helped everyone keep running.
The war cry competition was won by Lawson. They had parent involvement with some mums dressed in green!!
Well done everyone, especially Mr Haynes, on a great day!!

Our little Kindergarten scientists have been investigating how different materials are used for different purposes and how some materials are more durable than others. To put their learning into action, students took on the challenge of building homes for the Three Little Pigs using a variety of materials. They explored, tested, and compared which materials made the strongest and most durable houses. It was wonderful to see their creativity, problem-solving skills, and scientific thinking as they worked together to design and build their houses. Well done, Kindergarten scientists! 🌟🏠✨
