Jesus dies on the Cross
Some of our Year 5 students role played the Stations of the Cross for the St Andrew's Community.
On Holy Thursday, all students from St. Andrew's primary school went to the church to watch the role play.
The Year 5 students then performed again on Good Friday for the St. Andrew's parish community.
The students depicted Jesus' last hours before dying on the cross and this was a powerful way for us to reflect on His great sacrifice for us.

A huge congratulations to our eight Year 6 students who presented their Voice of Youth speeches to all of stage 3 in the school finals today! 🎤✨ Aarav, Emily, Omana, Bimarsha, Anjali, Margaret, Prachi and Lucas! We are incredibly proud of each of you for the hard work, dedication and passion you have shown throughout this journey. Over the last term, Year 6 have shown an amazing commitment toward developing speeches about topics that are of deep importance to them, and immense courage and confidence in sharing their voices with their peers. Each speech was unique and inspiring. They ALL did an amazing job and we are super proud of their efforts! 👏 Congratulations to Prachi, Anjali and Omana who've been nominated into the next round with other schools - the cluster finals! We wish them all the best as they prepare to shine again next week! 🌟

In Week 1, we had the joy of celebrating Grandparents’ Day with a beautiful liturgy and a special opportunity to welcome our grandparents into our classrooms. 💕 Thank you to everyone who joined us and made the day so memorable. Year 4 explored Matthew 6, Jesus Teaches Us to Pray, by locating and reading the passage in Bibles. They reflected on its message and created informative posters to share their understanding of prayer. 🙏📖✝️

Year 4 had a fantastic day exploring The Rocks as part of our History learning! 🏛️ Students stepped back in time as they discovered the story of Australia's early settlement, learnt about the arrival of the First Fleet, and explored some of Sydney's oldest surviving buildings. It was a wonderful opportunity to bring our classroom learning to life through hands-on experiences and historical discovery. Our students represented our school with enthusiasm, curiosity and excellent behaviour throughout the day. We are so proud of the way they embraced every learning opportunity!

We are incredibly proud to celebrate the amazing achievement of Elizabeth from Year 6! 🌟 Elizabeth recently competed at the National Gymnastics Championships, where she earned two silver medals in Acrobatic Gymnastics (Pre Youth Women’s Pair), placing 2nd in Balance and 2nd Overall. Year 1 has been inspired by The Most Magnificent Thing by Ashley Spires! After reading the story, students worked in groups of 2–4 to design and build their own magnificent creations using concrete building materials. They showed fantastic teamwork and creativity as they brought their ideas to life. We are so proud of their amazing efforts!
