Dear Parents and School community,
Please be aware of the public health announcement that was made yesterday regarding a covid positive Busways driver on the following dates: 20,21,22 and 24 August. Bus routes are as listed below. If anyone in your household was on one of the bus routes please monitor for symptoms and then isolate and get tested should they appear.
Today we received an alert from NSW Health that someone who was on the school property on Thursday 16 December has COVID-19. We have no specific information about the case and there has been no notification that staff or students have been identified as contacts.

Please find attached to this announcement 3 important documents that include a lot of important information for parents regarding the return to school for 2022. There is:

Dear Parents,
As you are aware, it is the intention for all students to return to school sometime during Term 2.
This survey is information gathering for the school to have some gauge when children will return.
This is only a guide, you are not locked into this Week/Date of return. To help us, please fill in the form.
Today a case of COVID-19 was reported at the St Margaret Mary’s Primary Merrylands. The
community has been notified and the school has been closed for deep cleaning.

NSW Health have issued a notice directing anyone (including students) who visited Our Lady of Lebanon Co-Cathedral on the following days to isolate and come forward for testing.
Wednesday 15 July at 5.30pm
Thursday 16 July at 6.00pm
Friday 17 July at 1.00pm and 6.00pm.

Dear St Andrew’s community,
We have just received an update from CEDP. The following is the latest advice:
Students who have had contact with a confirmed case of coronavirus should not attend school or preschool for 14 days, and should be monitored for symptoms.
Students who have visited Hubei Province of China over the last 14 days are excluded from school and should not return to school or child care services for a period of 14 days after leaving Hubei Province.
Students who have travelled to China, including Hong Kong, in the past two weeks should stay at home until after the 14-day incubation period for coronavirus has ended.
Catholic Education Diocese of Parramatta continues to monitor this developing situation closely to support student and staff health and wellbeing. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

The Australian Curriculum, Assessment and Reporting Authority (ACARA) collects data from schools to determine the Index of Community Socio-educational Advantage (ICSEA). CEDP is currently working to provide relevant details to the Catholic Education Commission of NSW. Data collected is de-identified of personal information.
Parents and caregivers must advise their school if they don’t want their child's data included in this report by 28 August 2020. Please advise in writing.

Dear St Andrew’s Community,
We have just received another update from Government bodies monitoring the Coronavirus. I can now confirm that advice applies to anyone who has travelled to Hong Kong as well as mainland China.
Therefore, if you or your family have travelled to Hong Kong or mainland China you are advised for your child to stay at home from school until after the 14 day incubation period.
My sincere gratitude for the absolute support our community has received from parents and friends at this very difficult time.
