Our Kindergarten students were very excited to experience their first buddy session with their Year 5 buddies. They spent time getting to know each other, chatting, laughing and working together on a special task that helped our Kindy students share information about who they are and what makes them unique. Well done to our Year 5 students who demonstrated care, kindness and patience when helping their buddies, as we welcome them into our school community 😍

πŸ™πŸΌ HOPE IS ALIVE 🌟 On Monday, our Year 6 students joined other schools in Penrith for ENCOUNTER, a formation day led by Australian Catholic musician Gen Bryant. Through music, prayer, storytelling and reflection, students explored what it means to be created in the image and likeness of God and how we show this each day. Our students unpacked Human Dignity, heard powerful stories of courage and hope, reflected on Gospel messages of love, and ended the day reverently with Eucharistic Adoration. A truly special experience that left our Year 6 leaders inspired, uplifted and filled with HOPE as they begin their final year with brave hearts. β™₯️

Year 5 kicked off their Science & Tech unit about energy by exploring how energy transforms in everyday electrical items, wondering, testing and discovering what really makes them work. From there, students jumped into hands‑on circuit challenges, working in teams to make a light bulb glow by creating a complete circuit. Once successful, they captured their learning with clear, labelled circuit diagrams. A brilliant start to our energy investigations this term! 🀩
